JEKYLL ISLAND
Historic Jekyll Island has a wonderful history and today’s travellers enjoy the nine miles of natural sandy beach fronting the Atlantic Ocean, the natural and unspoilt atmosphere, and its moderate climate. There are miles of cycle tracks, miniature golf, kayaking and canoeing, tennis, and a choice of restaurants. Tours of the Historic District are available and the island is home to the Georgia Sea Turtle Centre. Fishing and dolphin tours are also popular.
